900lbs Celebrates Friendsgiving

As another successful, action-packed year comes to a close, 900lbs celebrated with a scrumptious Friends-giving lunch. In keeping with the holiday spirit, Team Members started a coat and winter-wear donation drive to help support the community during the holiday season. Team Members donated their gently used coats and purchased hats, scarves, and gloves to help those in need stay warm as temperatures drop.
The response from the team was overwhelming – the donations will support our client, The Bridge, a homeless recovery center located in downtown Dallas. Since 2008, The Bridge has continued to aid chronically homeless individuals, helping them leave the streets for shelter and transitional housing, participate in healthcare, receive treatment for mental illness and substance abuse, find jobs, and move into permanent housing. 900lbs was honored to create a pro-bono immersive VR story for The Bridge last year.
