900lbs Hosts Intern From Madrid

900lbs recently hosted Jaqueline Farrach, an international University student from Madrid, Spain, for a fun-filled 2-week internship. Our team was excited to immerse her in our development process and our team culture. Our goal was to show her the many ways in which 900lbs is creating results-driven, innovative interactive experiences for our clients.
Jaqueline is interested in pursuing a career in interactive development. During her internship, Steven Billingslea, Interactive Development Director, provided Jaqueline with a glimpse of the diverse range of our development and design tools. Jaqueline was tasked with learning how to produce an Augmented Reality application as well as how to utilize Amazon AWS’ new mixed reality tool, Sumerian, in order to create a 3D application driven by an Avatar.
Taking the time to give back to our local communities and help bridge gaps internationally is an important part of core values here at 900lbs. We were very thankful to have inspired Jaqueline and learn from her as well. We look forward to keeping in touch with her as she completes her degree and follows her dream.
