What do you do at 900lbs?
I started as an intern, but now I’m a Project Coordinator!
What do you do for fun?
I spend a lot of time drawing and reading. My roommate and I are usually homebodies, so when we do decide to wander outside we don’t have much of a plan. Barhopping, art shows, conventions, karaoke, and open mic nights are a few of our go-tos, though. We also play a lot of Overwatch and watch way to much King of the Hill.
If you didn’t grow up in Dallas, where?
I was was pretty much raised in and around Dallas. I grew up in Flower Mound, went to school in Richardson and live near Downtown. I was in denial about it for a long time because I had lived in Denver as a kid, but after going back I realized it’s too late for me. I’m all Texas.
I love early thousands Emo and Alternative for some reason. It’s not even that good, it’s just what I listened to as a teenager and still makes me really nostalgic. I’m also into Lo-Fi Chillhop, Japanese City Pop, and Witch House…which are all just absurd names for cool sounding background music.
Where do you hang out in your free time?
At my apartment with my roommate or at a gaming cafe in Carrolton. The last one has become a little embarrassing…the staff there knows me TOO well.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I’ve always wanted to visit South Korea! I have a few friends who have moved Busan and uprooting to go live over there for a few years is something I want to do before I settle down. Also, I’ve never been to or met anyone from Wyoming. I’m not totally convinced its even a real place, but one day I want to find the truth!
What is your favorite 900lbs project so far?
I haven’t been here long enough to see one all the way through, but I think the Perot Sports Run exhibit was a really cool idea. What kid doesn’t want to race a dinosaur?
