What do you do at 900lbs?
I’m an Interactive Developer.
What do you do for fun?
Rock climbing trips down to Austin, Arkansas, or wherever we’re itching to go. D&D every Sunday. Netflix dates on Skype. And the occasional video game weekend/Netflix binge session.
If you didn’t grow up in Dallas, where?
I grew up in Garland just northeast of Dallas proper but on the corner of Sachse and Rowlett. I generally like the metroplex, except that it takes at least 20 minutes to get anywhere in the city.
All time? Probably Rock and Roll music; I used to be in a garage band back in high school. Now I’m listening to mostly hip hop or EDM.
Where do you hang out in your free time?
I used to spend my nights on the dance floor. Now If I’m not at the climbing gym I’m at home or at a friends house playing D&D.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Tokyo 2020! Rock climbing is making its debut appearance in the Olympics. Also a great excuse to see Japan!!!
What is your favorite 900lbs project so far?
Soccer Blocker! I worked on the first iteration of it and even QA on the project was enjoyable. Working in VR is always rewarding.
What are your top 5?
River Legacy! The whole team took on this monster of a project and crushed it. The best part about it is getting to see the kids’ joyous reactions to their experience.
NCR Connected City. An AR project that maps a digital city onto the real one.
Nokia Connected Car App was a fun project – we made a phone start a car!
Visit Dallas. My first project at 900lbs.
Delorean AR. A drivable mini-Delorean in AR – what’s not to like?
