The Challenge

Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) is a trusted leader in solving the world’s toughest challenges through advanced engineering technologies in Space Systems, Commercial Solutions, and National Security and Defense. Sierra Nevada Corporation approached 900lbs in late 2019 to help them capture their audience’s attention in a new way, telling an interactive story of SNC’s Dream Chaser and Shooting Star, ability to transport crew and cargo to low-Earth orbit (LEO) destinations and return to earth. We were tasked to build an interactive experience that could be showcased at tradeshows, in sales meetings and ultimately online via a web browser.

The Solution

We worked with SNC’s military and aerospace subject matter experts to craft an exciting mission-based journey, from launch to landing on a commercial airport runway.

Utilizing 3D assets of Dream Chaser and Shooting Star we created compelling transitional cinematics that emphasize Dream Chaser and Shooting Star’s capabilities throughout the mission. At each point in the mission we incorporated visuals with interactive hot spots to learn more about the various capabilities and features that make Dream Chaser and Shooting Star transport vehicle an innovative solution for multi-mission needs, both manned and unmanned.

The Result

The SNC Dream Chaser/Shooting Star Interactive is a tool that can be showcased in many formats, from large screen touch screen to tablet to online via a web browser, allowing versatility and flexibility to deploy this interactive experience in any environment.
