Ross Tower Digital Content Wall

Ross Tower, a 45-story staple in downtown Dallas, recently went through a $20M makeover. “The state-of-the-art transformation brought connectivity to the building and infused technology where it was needed,” Chuck Anderson, founder of Bandera Ventures, told the Dallas Business Journal.

900lbs of Creative was engaged by the HPI Real Estate team to design large-scale content and build out the technical infrastructure for the 18-screen display showcase in Ross Tower’s lobby.

The display wall was originally set up with several media players which were synced over two sides of the screen. Ross Tower quickly realized that it was difficult to maintain compatibility, and this resulted in many limitations for displaying content. Our team created a new solution utilizing Pro-Player Plus, which enabled the whole display to run more efficiently through one device and opened up the opportunity for a more flexible solution. Our visual content and tenant-marketing requests can be controlled remotely with one seamless click of a button. We also now have the ability to stream content, including live sports. Ross Tower’s lobby can easily be converted into an event space, and the content can be quickly tailored for Ross Tower’s events.

Hunter Lee, a leasing broker with HPI Commercial Real Estate LLC., said, “We had to decide what the millennial generation would be drawn to and create a sense of place.”

The Ross Tower display wall certainly achieves the wow factor with scalability and adaptability to provide a wide variety of content for visitors to enjoy.
